Kenora Swimming Sharks By-laws
We are currently governed by the Kenora Swimming Sharks constitution and bylaws amended September 2016-17. Please feel free to send any suggestions you may have for By-law amendments to the Club President at president@kenoraswimming.ca
Behaviour & Ethics
All KSS coaches are required to be members of the Canadian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association (CSCTA). The CSCTA has a written Code of Ethics and Conduct for all their members. Since 1999 the KSS has adopted this code of ethics and conduct, with amendments made to reflect the position of our club, and holds our coaches to these standards. The Code of Ethics and Conduct can be found here .
Additionally KSS athletes and parents / guardians of KSS athletes are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times. Anyone exhibiting unacceptable behavior (swearing, threats, destruction of property) will be cautioned to stop the behavior immediately by the Club President or Vice-president. If the behavior continues the athlete, parent, or guardian may be expelled from the club by a majority vote of the club executive.
